Ricardo Vega
Ricardo Vega, native of Orotina, Costa Rica.
He has participated in more than twenty group exhibitions inside and outside Costa Rica in cities such as: New York, Atlanta, Miami, Houston, Pennsylvania, Barcelona, Ibiza, Italy, Paris, Mexico, Poland.
He is an active member of Mondial Art Academy, an association of international artists based in France.
His plastic work covers various themes and techniques, from human figures, portraits and still life. He is the author of the exhibition Forjando una Nación, an exhibition commemorating the Bicentennial of the independence of Costa Rica, 75 portraits of heads of state, ex. presidents and first ladies, exhibition held at the National Gallery in conjunction with the Costa Rican Center for Science and Culture.
He has been teaching drawing and painting workshops for more than 10 years, and currently teaches workshops for the Rodin brand in Mexico.
