Michał Słowikowski
Michal Slowikowski is an associate professor at the Faculty of International and Political Studies at the University of Lodz. Since 2006, he has held a PhD in political science (Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Wroclaw). In 2019, he received his habilitation from the Faculty of International and Political Studies at the University of Lodz. His main research area is: contemporary Russian political regime, socio-political transformation in Central and Eastern Europe. relations between Russia and the West He is the author of two books on contemporary Russia: The Federal Politics of Boris Yeltsin and Vladimir Putin, 2009; United Russia in the Political System of the Russian Federation, 2019. Co-author of Paradiplomacy in Asia: Case Studies of China, India and Russia, 2018.. For many years, he has served on the editorial board of “Eastern Review”, a journal published by the University of Lodz Publishing House, as secretary of the editorial board.
