Camilo Mateus
Member of the research group: Ibero-American Observatory of Sociopolitics, Culture, and Environment. Recipient of the Bicentennial Scholarship Program from the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation of Colombia. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Education at Universidad de La Sabana and a Ph.D. in Social Sciences at Universidad de Granada (Dual degree through co-tutorship). Holds a Master's degree in Education and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Pedagogy. Honorable mention recipient of the National High Management Award from the Administrative Department of Public Function of the Presidency of the Republic in 2016. Experienced manager and evaluator of social and educational projects, university lecturer in areas related to education, community development, human rights, and armed conflict. Proficient in coordinating and directing projects with various governmental entities.

Social researcher currently working on his doctoral thesis titled "Resignification of the concept of school by the educational community of the Chocó Department, Colombia, from the armed conflict of 1996 to 2016." His research interests include school and armed conflict, teaching and armed conflict, hybrid violence in schools, and education for peace.
